Happiness means something different to everyone out there. I think it’s also very important to form your own opinion about the meaning of happiness. Today I want to tell you what I mean by that
For me, happiness means accepting life with all its ups and downs and being content. It’s not about ignoring and suppressing negative feelings. To deny sorrow, to live in a world of illusions and to forcefully run after happiness makes you only more unhappy in the long run. It’s good to see something positive in everything, yet you you should embrace the days you feel not as happy. I believe that such days can take the pressure off the mind and body and make it more resilient. Of course it’s also important to want to be able to pull yourself out of a deep. I am generally convinced that the human being is naturally happy. But more about this topic in another post.
For a long time, it was very difficult for me to really be happy. For a while I was convinced that I was not meant to be happy. I think everyone goes through such phases; some for a longer period of time, others for shorter periods. I have come to the conclusion through my own experience that being happy and happy in the long run is a long road with some setbacks. You have to work on yourself to be a happier person. That’s life. I soon realized that if I do not work on my point of view and help myself, no one else will.
On this blog I would like to share with you how I’ve changed my life from negative to positive. If I can help just one person out there with my story, my advice and contributions, it would mean the world to me.
